Air conditioner is considered to be as a very important part in every home, these days. Air conditioners are not just only used to get a cool and fresh air, but these are also used for the interior design. Air conditioners can really increase the interior beauty of the homes. Air conditioners are made of so many electric parts, but the most important ones are compressor, condenser and evaporator. If we talk about the compressor and the condenser, these two parts are usually located at the outside air portion of the air conditioner. The evaporator is located inside the room. Compressor is the main part of the air conditioner.

When the working fluid arrives at the compressor as a cool and low pressure gas, the air conditioner compressor compresses the fluid and packs the fluid molecules closer together. These molecules have high energy and temperature. The working fluid leaves compressor as a hot, high pressure gas and flows into the condenser.

The working fluid then leaves the condenser with much cooler temperature. It changes from gas to liquid under high pressure. Then the liquid goes into the evaporator through a narrow hole. The pressure of the liquids drops very quickly and when it does so, then it begins to evaporate into a gas. The liquid extracts a lot of heat from the air when it changes into a gas and evaporates. The evaporator also has metal fins to facilitate or assist in changing the thermal energy with the surrounding air. When the working fluid leaves the evaporator at that time, it has very low pressure and so it gets cool. Then again the working fluid returns to the compressor to start its trip again and again. A fan is connected to the evaporator that really circulates the air to the inside of the house to blow across the evaporator fins. Cold air is heavier than the hot air so the hot air rises to the top of the room. The hot air is then used to cool the gas, through the evaporator. As the heat present in the air is removed, then automatically the air is cooled. Then the air is blown into the house. This procedure is repeatedly done until the room reaches the temperature, which you want to be. When the room is cooled, then at that time you can turn the air conditioner off, or you can set the air conditioner at certain temperature. And when it reaches the required temperature, it automatically gets off. Compressor is the main part of the air conditioner, because it enables the air conditioner to provide cool and fresh air in the hot season.
